Registration opens August 20 for BAPA members and August 27 for nonmembers.

Registration is limited to 20 players who will be playing on three courts. 

Pre-registration and pre-payment is required.

NOTE: You MUST have a UTPR of 4.0 or above or played in a tournament at 4.0 or above to participate in this event. After you register, your skill level will be verified. Once it is verified, you will receive an invoice to pay for the event. After your payment is completed, you are fully registered for the event and have secured your spot. 

Remember drop-in play? Prior to 2020, a large part of pickleball play in the Treasure Valley was not pre-arranged with pickleball dates. We simply showed up somewhere, hoped others were at that same somewhere at the same time, and pickled. 

This event is a tribute to drop-in play with a jamboree. 

In the world of sports, a jamboree is a series of practice scrimmages against multiple teams. 

Scores are kept in individual games, but cumulative scores are not tallied. 

Think of it like a continuous school recess where players rotate out after games are completed, with new players rotating in. 

While you’re at the jamboree, you will have the opportunity to play multiple games AND you will get the chance to visit with others who you haven't seen in a while as you wait for your turn to play. 

Fee is $3 for a BAPA member which covers the cost of balls, court rental cost, and processing fees. Fee for a NON-member $6.

There are NO REFUNDS, but please cancel (if you need) so others may participate, and the numbers work out. A wait list will be maintained in case of cancellations.

Format for this event:

Arrive by 5:45 PM to check-in and warm up.

At 5:55 p.m. you will receive instructions on how to use the player rotation system. Play will begin promptly at 6:00. 

Each game will be to 11 points, win by one. After you complete your game, all four players rotate off and place their names back on the player rotation board for their next games. 

NOTE: You will not be playing all three hours, so you might want to bring a chair to sit on while you visit with others and wait your turn.
