Round Robin Rotations with Random Partners and Opponents

All OOPS events are held on four courts.

Below is a link to a pdf that contains multiple rotation information on four courts for player counts from 16 to 26. You will most likely only need the 16-19 player counts for your session. Print out pages 1-4 for the 16-19 player counts.

If you have less than 16 players signed up, you can print out some three court sheets.

TO MAKE IT EASIER FOR PLAYERS TO READ and determine what court they are on, you may want to use a piece of blank paper placed directly under the current round as shown in your starter pack. 

Round Robin Sign in Sheet

Have each player sign in as they arrive so that they have a number to use during the round robin. You will need one for each event you hold.

Score Sheets

Here are some tally sheets to keep track of scores by team or by player. You can use these for shoot outs, seedings after a couple of games into a King/Queen of the Court, etc...

STARTER PACK

Before or at the start of your first session, you will receive the following items from a volunteer, aboard member, OOPS event coordinator: 

EQUIPMENT

  • 20 FRANKLIN PICKLEBALLS - Please mark with BAPA on each ball several times if they are not already marked. These should last your entire season, but if you need more contact the OOPS event coordinator. 
  • SEVEN MEDIUM BINDER CLIPS to hang four court numbers, round robin rotation sheet, player number sign in sheet  and court reserved sign on the fence.
  • TWO LARGE PAPER CLIPS to hold paper underneath the current round on your round robin sheet to make it easier for players to see what round they are on.  
  • ONE INK PEN to use on the player sign in sheet. 
PAPERWORK (Links to print all of these documents are in the Ready to Print section above.)
  • One SIGN IN sheet for 1-20 players to sign into your event. -- You will need to print one for each of your events. 
  • One COURT RESERVED sign for your event. -- Enter in the date and times of your event. You will need to print the remaining signage for your events. 
  • One set of 16-19 PLAYER ROUND ROBIN SHEET. You may need to print more off as instructed below based on the number of players who may show up. 
  • One folded blank piece of paper to mark which round your round robin is on to make it easier for players to see. 
  • A set of FOUR COURT 1-4 NUMBER signs for you to mark the courts with numbers 1-4 to direct players to specific courts for your round robins.
